Marky is a 2o year-old up and coming artist from Washington, D.C. I'll let his music speak for him. Here is the 2nd leak off Marky’s upcoming EP, Journey to Markyland, USA: Rest Stop 1, dropping April 5th. Marky Explains, "Ok so.. I’m a huge fan of the “Entourage” Series Show on HBO just like the rest of the world lol. I caught on to the show around the 3rd Season and then went back and started at Season 1 to catch myself up. Now comes this new show “How To Make It In America” that I think has the same feel but it’s a little, or MUCH rather, more gritty and “about the grind-ish”. It’s already 6 Episodes in and for some reason I can’t stop singing the got damn theme song by Aloe Blacc titled “I Need A Dollar”. I figured, “hey, why not throw my 1, 2 on it!” lol. I Ruined These Songs For You

Damn, I first heard Intuition a few weeks back after he dropped his sophomore solo-album, Girls Like Me. I heard his song Buzzkill featuring Slug of Atmosphere and thought it was dope. I just learned of his newest mixtape, I Ruined These Songs For You, which he explains best, "Remember when you used to make actual tapes for your friends, or a girl you liked? You’d spend hours trying to come up with the right songs in the right order, trying to appease your friend’s preferences but show your tastes as well. The side project I’m going to release later this month takes that exact idea, but just one step farther. I took a collection of 11 songs that I love (no rap music), songs that I think fans of any type of music would love, and I added a verse to each. I didn’t chop the songs up and flip the samples for brownie points. I didn’t try to make something new out of these songs. I just tried to leave the original songs alone as much as I could, and added one verse over each song to make it seem as if I was invited into the studio with the band to collaborate." I highly recommend you download the entire tape, I had trouble picking some good ones to stream cause they're all so good.

I randomly found Luke O'Brien's music after being sent his comedic remix of Asher Roth's I Love College. He then released the A Cool Stick EP with his band A Cool Stick consisting of Luke (Vocals), John Fitch (Vocals/Keys), James Hughes (Guitar), Brian Aranda (Drums), and Brendan “Fuzz” Floyd (Bass). The music was dope, both Luke and John had a smooth flow and went hard over the live instrumentals, and I am really looking forward to what they do next. In the mean time, Luke just dropped a solo album, The Dopeness, which has the theme of the movie, The Wackness, often using snippets to open a song.
